Windows Version/Windows XP

To check windows version you must check the system properties. Checking the system properties will show not only the windows version but service pack installations, windows subversion(home, professional, etc), registrations and some computer hardware information.

Follow instructions below to check windows version:

Left click on the 'Start' button

Right Click on 'My Computer' then Left Click Properties

NOTE: If you do not see My Computer proceed to Method Two
