In Windows XP you can easily customize your desktop icons. To do this you must follow the step-by-step instructions.

[edit] Step 1

Right click anywhere on your desktop area and then click properties

Click the Desktop Tab at the top of the window then click the Custumize Desktop button

[edit] Step 3

Click on the image that you would like to change click Change Icon

[edit] Step 4

Choose the picture that you want to use or click and click OK
