[edit] C# DateTime.ToLongDateString Method

ToLongDateString returns a string that is the long date version of the datetime object. By default it will return the date in day, month number, year. This method will not return the time.


  • Note: ToLongDateString returns a string value

string variable = object.ToLongDateString();

[edit] Example 1:

This code will print two different dates and then compare them against their hashes.

class Program
{
    static void Main()
    {
        DateTime d1 = new DateTime(2007,3,21);
        Console.WriteLine(d1.ToLongDateString());
        Console.Read();
    }
}
