[edit] Using the DateTime Subtract Method

To use the Datetime Subtract method you will specify a timespan. You must specify the amount of days you want to Subtract. The timespan constructor is a flexible one, you can subtract negative numbers so you will be adding to the given date

[edit] Example 1:

using System;
class Program
{
    static void Main()
    {
        DateTime d1 = DateTime.Now;
        TimeSpan t1 = new TimeSpan(2,0,0);
        d1 = d1.Subtract(t1);
        Console.WriteLine(d1.ToString());

        Console.Read();
    }
}

As you can see Subtract method simply subtracted one Day from the current date.
