[edit] Using the DateTime.Add Method
To use the Datetime Add method you must specify a timespan. When the time span is instantiated you can include it in the DateTime Add method.
[edit] Syntax
DateTime.Add(TimeSpan object)
[edit] Example
using System;
class Program
{
static void Main()
{
//One hour and 59 min
TimeSpan MyTimeSpan = new TimeSpan(1,59,0);
DateTime today = DateTime.Now;
Console.WriteLine("today: " + today.ToString());
today = today.Add(MyTimeSpan);
Console.WriteLine("New Date: " + today.ToString());
Console.Read();
}
}
Output:
today: 4/4/2007 9:46:40 PM
New Date: 4/4/2007 11:45:40 PM
As you can see the Add method simply added one hour and 59 minutes to the current time.
